TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions are applicable to all contracts for the provision of services to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions. Booking confirmations made verbally or via written form, for example, email or letter, are subject to these terms and conditions. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking with us.

By purchasing a service from us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

General

All our bars operate under the Licensing Act 2003 and all relevant regulations will be upheld. We run a strict Challenge 25 policy; anybody who appears to be under 25 years will need to provide photographic evidence of their age. This can be in the form of a UK driving licence, Passport, or military service card. We would highly recommend informing your guests of this policy prior to the event.

Bookings

All quotations (verbal or written) will be valid for seven days from the date of enquiry. We cannot guarantee that the date will be available after these seven days. Hops & Bubbles bookings are on a first come first serve basis. To confirm and hold a booking, the client must provide a deposit either in cash, by electronic transfer or debit/credit card. The deposit amount will be stated in your quotation or invoice.

For Pre-paid Bars – Hops & Bubbles will contact you at least one week prior to your event to confirm times and the final number of guests or participants. If the number of guests increases at this time, we will adjust the remaining balance accordingly. We are always willing to accommodate additional guests to your event, when possible. However, after we have confirmed the final number, we cannot offer any refunds. Full payment for pre-paid bars must be received no later than 14 days before your event.

For Cash Bars – A deposit is required to hold the date and to cover the cost of the temporary alcohol licence. Card payments accepted subject to sufficient WiFi / 4g coverage at the venue. A minimum spend may be requested for your event. Details of this will be stated in your quotation. A Temporary Event Notice is required for cash bars and will be applied for by Hops & Bubbles. Hops & Bubbles will cover the full cost of this (currently £21) unless the event is cancelled in which case the fee will be deducted from your deposit.

Deposits – The amount of your deposit will be stated in your quotation. Bookings will only be confirmed once your deposit has been received. Deposits are refundable up to 30 days prior to your event in full. Cancellations made after this time will result in your deposit being kept by us. Deposits will be refunded at the end of your event. Should the government impose any Covid related restrictions at your chosen date of the event, then a full refund will be offered, less the licencing fee (currently £21) if this has been applied for on your behalf.

 

 

Security deposit (for equipment hire) – A security deposit is required when hiring any of our equipment for self-use. Security deposits are due upon arrival with your equipment, prior to setting up. This can either be by cash, card or BACS. The amount required as security will be stated on your quotation or invoice and will be fully refunded upon collection of undamaged equipment.  

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation, Hops & Bubbles require notice (verbal or written) 30 days before the date of the event. Failure to do so will result in losing the full deposit amount.

Insurance

Hops & Bubbles has full Public Liability Insurance. Copies of certificates are available upon request.

Access (Parking)

The client is responsible for ensuring that their delivery and collection instructions are consistent with parking restrictions. Hops & Bubbles reserve the right to pass on the client the cost of any fines incurred due to wrong or incorrect instructions. Parking is required for all events and must be provided by the client. For vehicle registration number please contact a member of our team.

Adequate loading facilities must be provided by the client. Hops & Bubbles will not be held responsible for any difficulties with this that result in a delay to service.

Loss or Breakages

Any loss or breakages of hire equipment will be the responsibility of the client and will be deducted from any deposit held by Hops & Bubbles. Any glassware included in the hire of equipment and is subject to the same conditions. However, Hops & Bubbles recognise that glasses are subject to accidental breakages and willing to waive any loss or breakage if not exceeding 5% of the total number of glasses provided at the event.

Additional

The client is responsible for the behaviour and conduct of their guests. Hops & Bubbles reserve the right to stop service at any point during the event if they feel the safety of their staff or guests may be at risk.

Hops & Bubbles will always quote an ideal number of bar staff and mobile bars for each client to ensure each event runs smoothly with the highest standard of service. If the client request to change any of the items on the quote such as the number of staff and/or mobile bars, Hops & Bubbles will not be held liable for any responsibility for the overall success of an event. In some circumstances, we may recommend the use of SIA security at events.

In the event that Hops & Bubbles are not able to provide services as agreed due to circumstances out of their control (such as major weather conditions, transport problems, etc.), they will not be held responsible for any loss, cancellation or delay. In the event that specific items (item of food or drink) are overly popular during the course of service, Hops & Bubbles may run out of stock for that particular drink, and that, in such circumstance, Hops & Bubbles will not be held responsible for not being able to serve that specific drink for the remainder of service.

 

Privacy policy

This privacy policy sets out how Hops & Bubbles uses and protects any information that you give Hops & Bubbles when you use our website or enter into a contract with us. Hops & Bubbles is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.

What we do with the information we gather

We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

We may be legally obliged to record details of any refusal of service. This data could include Name, Address and Date of birth and will be kept for a period of 12 months. This data can be requested by the Police or Licensing Authority at any time.

How we use cookies

A cookie is a small file that asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.
