Troubleshooting Guide
Answer a few quick questions and we’ll guide you to the next step.
1) Is the equipment powering on?
2) Are you getting normal cooling/flow?
No power
- Check the socket with another device.
- Verify the fuse in the plug (13A) and RCD/trip switches.
- Ensure a power source is within 2 metres of the bar area.
Everything is powered and cooling normally
If you still have issues (e.g., foamy pours or gas problems), continue:
Poor cooling/flow
- Confirm cooler is ventilated and not against a wall.
- Ensure water bath is filled (if applicable) and fans run freely.
- Check lines aren’t kinked; couplers are fully locked.
Foamy pours
- Lower regulator slightly (e.g., 10–12 psi for most lagers as a starting point).
- Chill lines and product; minimise warm runs.
- Ensure correct coupler for the keg.
Gas issues
- Verify cylinder open and regulator shows pressure.
- Check for hissing/leaks at joints; tighten safely.
- Confirm correct gas type for product (CO₂ / mixed gas).
Great — power restored
Carry on to check cooling/flow if needed.
