A selection of cask beers from the finest local and national brewers.
Unlike keg beers, most cask beers require a settling time before they can be dispensed in order to further condition the beer inside. This is usually between 24 and 48 hours depending on the beer. These are known as ‘live’ beers.
Luckilly, the majority of local brewers are able to supply ‘bright’ beers which are ready to serve. These have been settled and conditioned at the brewery and then poured into casks ready to serve.
Most beers listed below are available in Firkins (9 gallon / approx 70 pints) as either ‘live’ or ‘bright beers, 4.5 gallon pins, 10 litre mini-pins and some as 5 litre mini-kegs.
All cask quotes include a wooden stillage, tap and spiles.
Bright casks will be supplied unless requested.
